How to change Master Host in SGE

1. On current master host stop the daemons.
# qconf -km

2. Edit the $SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/common/act_qmaster file according to the following guidelines:

update the act_qmaster file with the output of follwoing command executed on new master host.
# $SGE_ROOT/utilbin/$SGE_ARCH/gethostname

3. On the New Master Host start qmaster
# $SGE_ROOT/$SGE_CELL/common/sgemaster
